dis/comfort vase 2
Description: This ceramic vessel continues the series of dis/comfort, with imagery that is comfortable to me in my own repetition of it or in my personal association with it. The stars and butterflies are used often within my art work, the drawing of a vase on that same vase explores repetition, and the golgi apparatus expresses support in its imagery and name, perhaps without any real research on the part of the artist. The writing on the top of the vase reads “I don’t often feel Held”, an expression of vulnerability and an asking, of sorts, for the support that is lacking.
