dis/comfort vase 1
Description: This ceramic vessel, from the series dis/comfort, holds imagery that represents comfort or a feeling of being held. There is chain link imagery, fences which hold, whether that is something good or bad. The stars, butterflies, and abstract shapes are ones that I have grown comfortable with, repeating often in my art pieces. The letters on the top of the vase read “I hope you feel held” an offer of support and care to the viewer. This piece represents my comfort zone, and attempts to validate my own repetition within my art. ***flowers not included
Dimensions: 6” x 7.5”
Medium: Stoneware, Underglaze, Underglaze Pencil, Glaze
